FUNNY STORIES:CARAVAN STORIES

A Snake in Class One of my third-grade students brought in a snake for show. I am afraid of snakes, but since the boy was responsible(负责的),I decided to let him go ahead. Another teacher had come in to help that day and,not being fearful of snakes, picked the snake up with the stem(柄) of her glasses so everyone could see it.
As she was putting it back into its container, the snake slithered(滑行)loose. Everyone began to stream and run around while the teacher tried to catch it.
To restore(恢复)calm,I told the children to get into their seats, but one little girl repeatedly refused my orders. Exasperated(恼火的),I seriously asked her one final time to return to her seat. She turned to me and politely said,“I can?蒺t,Miss Bowdoin. You are standing in my seat.”
