2005年老年大学工作总结
2005年，在市委、市政府的关心支持下，在市委老干部局的直接领导下，按照党的十六大提出的“发展继续教育，构建终身教育体系”、“形成全民学习、终身学习的学习型社会”的要求，认真贯彻上级有关文件精神，较好地完成了2005年工作计划，全市老年教育有了新的发展，树立了良好形象，进一步提高了社会知名度。现将一年来的工作情况总结如下： 一、结合我市实际，深入贯彻上级文件精神，促进老年教育新发展。
今年，为深入贯彻中共福建省委办公厅、省人民政府办公厅《关于进一步加强老年教育工作的意见》（闽委办[2004]79号）和省委组织部、省委老干部局等五家单位联合下发的《关于评选表彰全省老年教育先进集体和先进个人的通知》，以及省委老干部局、省老龄办、省老年大学联合下发的《关于在县以上老年大学（学校）开展省级老年大学示范校创建和评估活动的意见（试行）》等文件精神，我们结合实际，积极抓落实，促发展。
1、坚持正确的办学方向，加强思想政治工作。今年，我校为紧跟迅速发展的政治、经济形势的步伐，丰富老年学员的政治生活，把思想政治教育放在首位，每月定期组织学员听时事政治讲座，使学员及时了解当前国内外发生的政治事件，深层了解新闻背景。
2、加强对各级老年大学（学校）的指导。一是召开了全市老年教育工作会议,把省两办《意见》精神传达贯彻落实到区级校和镇（街）、村（居）老年学校；二是召开全市各区（单位）校长联席会。今年5月份在思明区老年大学召开了全市各区（单位）校长联席会，校长们交流了基层老年教育办学经验，着重探讨了在办学中存在的主要困难和问题，及其解决办法；三是召开全市老年大学教材交流会。
3、评选和表彰老年教育先进集体和先进个人。2005年重阳节我市举行庆祝老年节暨表彰大会，市委、市政府五套班子领导参加了大会。思明区老年大学等5个单位荣获老年教育先进集体称号；施能鹤等5人荣获特殊贡献奖；陈兆方等51人获老年教育先进个人称号。
同时，经省评选，厦门老年大学、思明区老年大学、集美区老年大学荣获省老年教育先进集体称号，黄宪等26人荣获省老年教育先进个人称号。
4、开展“市级老年大学示范校”创建和评估活动。根据省有关文件精神，今年我们着重抓了在全市老年大学(学校)开展“示范校”创建和评估活动的前期工作。
5月份研究制定了“示范校评估方案”，建立了一整套评估标准并于6月份试行。
二、通过建校20周年校庆活动，总结办学经验，推动我市老年教育工作再上新台阶。
1、抓好校庆的各项准备工作。今年年初，学校建校二十周年庆典活动的筹备工作全面展开。成立了校庆筹备工作领导小组，查阅了大量的学校历史档案，开展了《厦门老年大学建校二十周年纪念册》编印工作和一场文艺节目策划、创作及学校二十年教学作品成果展的策划、征集工作；对校庆各项筹备任务进行了全面启动。
2、举办教学成果展及体育展示。为庆祝建校二十周年摄影研究会编辑出版了《城市之光》摄影集；诗词研究会出版了作品集《鹭江唱晚》；中医班出版了《验方集》；校老体协12月17日在人民会堂广场举办了精彩的千人体育展示大会操活动。
3、以市委、市政府的名义召开庆典大会。市委、市政府对厦门老年大学建校二十周年庆典十分重视，市委书记何立峰召开了市委书记办公会议，专题讨论厦门老年大学二十周年庆典事宜，并于12月24日在厦门人民会堂以市委、市政府的名义隆重举行了20周年庆典大会。福建省政协原主席、省老年大学校长游德馨，省老年大学协会会长、省老年大学副校长李青藻，省委常委、厦门市委书记何立峰等厦门市五套班子领导以及原市人大主任李秀记等市五套班子老领导出席了庆典大会。市人大副主任、校委会主任曾国玲主持大会。陈昆源校长在总结市老年大学创办20周年的经验时说,厦门老年大学初创时一无校舍，二无资金，首期仅150名学员，发展至今已拥有独立的校舍、宽敞明亮的教室、较先进的教学设备和稳定的办学经费，有5000余名学员。
游德馨校长在庆典大会上高度赞扬了厦门老年大学的办学成绩，总结了四条办学经验：一是党政领导的高度重视、社会各方大力支持，是办好老年大学的关键；二是坚持正确的办学方向，加强思想政治教育，是老年大学的首要任务；三是根据特区的特点办学，扩大开放度，是老年大学发挥作用的场所；四是与时俱进，不断改革创新，是老年教育不断扩展、提高的动力。
庆典大会上，到会领导与1500多名老年学员一起观看了老年大学学员自编自演的《人生的风帆》大型文艺演出。
2005年，厦门大学老年大学、集美区老年大学也分别举办了成立20周年校庆活动，思明区老年大学举办了成立15周年校庆活动。
三、夯实“硬件”，改善办学条件，优化教学资源。
1、教学楼的改造装修工程进展良好。在市委、市政府的关心支持下，位于斗西路的原电视大学校舍划拨我校管理使用，在着手进行了改造装修的前期准备工作后，于今年9月份，教学楼的改造装修工程正式动工，至年底装修改造工程已接近尾声，计划06年上半年正式使用。

四、升级“软件”，推进制度建设，不断提高教学质量和办学水平。
1、加强调查研究，改进教学内容，满足学员需求。我们在举办各类讲座时，根据学员普遍喜欢听养生、保健讲座的需求，与香港金日集团合作，请了全国著名保健专家洪昭光教授为学员做了“健康生活新观念”报告会。我们还请了厦门大学知名的体育教授为学员进行了《老年人科学健身与保健锻炼》的讲座。
2、根据新的情况不断完善各项教学管理制度，实行规范化、制度化管理。
