特殊疑问句是英语里最常用的句式之一,它是以特殊疑问词开头的疑问句,不能用 yes 或 no 回答,朗读时用降调｡笔者拟对特殊疑问句的用法作一小结,供同学们学习时参考｡
1. 特殊疑问句的概念｡
以特殊疑问词(如 what, where, how, when 等)开头的疑问句叫作特殊疑问句｡例如:
What is your name? 你叫什么?
Where are you from? 你来自哪里?
What color is it? 它是什么颜色?
How do you go to school? 你如何去上学?
When is your birthday? 什么时候是你的生日?
2. 特殊疑问句的构成｡
特殊疑问句的构成分为两种:
(1) 疑问词+助动词 be 或 do的适当形式+主语+谓语+其它成分?例如:
Where are your parents? 你的父母在哪儿?
What time do you go to school? 你几点去上学?
How do you like China? 你觉得中国怎么样?
Which class are you in? 你是哪个班的?
(2) 如果疑问词是句子的主语或修饰主语时,可以用“疑问词(名词)+谓语动词+其他成分?”｡例如:
Who comes from China? 谁来自中国?
Whose father works in this factory?芽 谁的父亲在这个工厂工作?
对特殊疑问句应作具体详细的回答｡不能用 Yes 或 No 来作答｡例如:
―When is National Day?
―It is on October 1.
